Fixed project fee for defined scopes.
Your proposal sets out the agreed scope, deliverables, milestones and total project fee.
Two review rounds are included in the project fee, including revisions within the agreed scope. Concept/layout and detailed-design reviews are scheduled in your proposal.
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately. Ongoing support is quoted separately.

For a single machine or station, allow about 4 weeks for concept/layout and 3D design, followed by about 2 weeks for 2D drawings and the Bill of Materials (BOM). The timeline begins once the scope is finalized and all necessary input files are received.
Simple equipment may take less time; complex production lines may take longer. This estimate excludes time required for client reviews. Your proposal confirms the project-specific schedule.

What should I send to start a project?
Share the task, product or load, target output and any known space constraints. Existing sketches, layouts or CAD can help. We can agree an NDA before you share confidential files.
Can you work with our existing engineering team?
Yes. GMD can take on a defined design package or provide ongoing mechanical and CAD support. We agree responsibilities, file formats, review points and the working arrangement before starting.
Which CAD and manufacturing files can you deliver?
GMD works primarily with Autodesk Inventor and also supports SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Native CAD, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, STEP files, PDFs and validation reports are supplied as agreed in the project scope.
Can we sign an NDA before sending drawings?
Yes. Confidentiality and IP terms can be agreed before you share technical files. Project-specific ownership and transfer arrangements are defined in the contract.
What do the 91 completed design projects represent?
The total covers completed engineering design projects, not machines manufactured or installed by GMD. Figures are from GMD project records. Many projects are confidential, so public case studies show a selection.
Does a design project include manufacturing or installation?
The core offer is engineering design and documentation. Manufacturing, procurement, electrical controls, installation and certification are separate responsibilities unless expressly included in the agreed scope.
